Volunteer Stories!

A Collection of Wonderful Stories Told by Las Vegas Valley
Humane Society Volunteers

Following are some of the heart warming and sometimes amazing stories our volunteers have collected over the years:

If Teddy Bear would have known the home he was bound for he probably would have been easier to catch.
Wade took care of some of Las Vegas' homeless cats until he died; then our volunteers stepped in.
The story is about the rescue of Robin and her puppies from underneath a construction shed.
It was quite a rescue getting the Sharpei mother and her puppy out of the wash where they had made their home.
The recent story of Kacey the cat and Teri the dog warning their owners of the fire next door.
Cupid's story tells of a kitty discovered in a garage that had been shot with an arrow. Not only did he survive the ordeal; you should see what he looks like now.
Cats make the best mothers. This is proved all too true in a story told by Ann and Susan about Tess, the mother who wouldn't quit.

We always need volunteers! Please click here for more info...
