Being a foster brings so much joy to not only the animals, but the fosters as well!

If you are a cat or dog lover, becoming a foster for the Las Vegas Valley Humane Society is a great way to give back to our community and have an enriching experience at the same time.

Fosters provide loving/safe homes for the cats and dogs in our adoption programs. The Las Vegas Valley Humane Society does not have a shelter and relies solely on compassionate foster homes for the daily care of our rescues.

We provide everything you need: pet food, litter, kennel, leashes/collars/harnesses and most importantly medical care. LVVHS partners with local veterinarian clinics as we do not have a vet on staff. Vaccinations, wellness visits, spay/neuter and other surgical visits are all paid for.

You, as the foster, are responsible for the daily care, transportation to vet appointments and adoption events and most of all, giving love.

If you are ready to be a part of saving the lives of cats and dogs in the Las Vegas community, please fill out our foster application.
